This hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding terrain in the beautiful area surrounding Rifugio A.N.A. Monteaperta. With a total distance of 12.332 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1113 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult and is suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, you will soon come across the first drinking water point at 0.85 kilometers from the start. As you continue, at 0.57 kilometers you will find another drinking water point, ensuring you stay hydrated during your journey. Further along the trail, at 2.95 kilometers from the start, you will reach Trattoria alle Sorgenti, a cafe where you can rest and refuel.

Midway through the hike, at 5.66 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point providing insights into the area's history and attractions. Additionally, at 6.06 kilometers from the start, there is another information point a bit off the trail, offering further knowledge for curious hikers.

As you approach the Rifugio A.N.A. Monteaperta, located at 6.17 kilometers from the start, the alpine hut serves as a destination point and a place to rest and enjoy the surrounding views. Finally, at 6.16 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Ricovero Montemaggiore, a wilderness hut offering accommodation for hikers.
