This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Le Clauzal. The trail is 10.208 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 834 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before setting out.

As you start your journey, you'll come across a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 3.8 kilometers into the hike, you'll have the opportunity to admire the majestic peak of Pic de Balmiou, although it is slightly off the main trail. Continuing on, at around 5.1 kilometers, you'll reach another peak called Le Clauzal, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, at around 2.98 kilometers from the start, you'll find the peak of SN 1721, although it is also slightly off the main trail.

This route is an out-and-back type, so you'll retrace your steps on the way back.
