This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Römerweg. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 1.712 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across the parking area which is located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to check if there are any fees for parking before leaving your car. Along the way, you will find several amenities such as benches where you can take a rest, picnic sites for a scenic meal break, and a shelter named Mandelsteinshütte which is located midway through the trail.

At around 0.44 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the viewpoint named "Am Mandelstein" where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail at 0.86 kilometers, you will find two water sources to refill your water bottles.

For history enthusiasts, at 0.64 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the "Preußischer Meilenstein" milestone, providing a glimpse into the past of the area. Additionally, there are multiple benches scattered along the route where you can take in the peaceful surroundings and rest if needed.
