As you embark on your journey, you will come across the Smuggler's Cave Information Booth, which provides insight into the area's history. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.02 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a Historic Marker highlighting Smuggler's Notch, a notable feature in the region.
Continuing on, you will reach the Sterling Pond Trailhead at 0.06 kilometers, offering a starting point for exploring additional trails in the area. At a distance of 2.17 kilometers from the start, you will reach Spruce Peak, a peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, at 2.33 kilometers into the route, there is a viewpoint where you can pause and take in the beauty of your surroundings.
