As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area just 90 meters from the trailhead, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. About 2 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Refuge La Vouivre, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
Throughout the hike, you will find benches scattered along the trail, providing opportunities to take a break and soak in the views. There are also informational points marked along the route, giving you insights into the area's history and natural features. Additionally, you will find drinking water stations to refill your bottles and picnic sites for a relaxing meal in nature.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching Col de Taney, a picturesque mountain pass located 1.45 kilometers from the start. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Nearby, you will also find a wayside shrine and a saddle known as the Col de Tanay.
