Welcome to the hiking route to Saix Rouge! This moderate 3.9 km trail with an elevation gain of 371 meters will take you on an out-and-back journey through the stunning landscapes of the area.

Starting off, you will pass by the information point "Recon" right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will come across "Le Luisset," a water spot at around 0.51 km from the start, where you can refill your water bottle.

Around 0.02 km from the start, you will find "La Bourri," a restaurant where you can grab some delicious food. It's a great spot to refuel before continuing your hike.

As you trek onwards, you will reach the peaks "Saix Rouge" and "Haut Sex" at 1.95 km and 1.5 km from the start respectively. These vantage points offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect spot for a quick break.

Further along the trail, at 1.68 km from the start, you will pass by the information point "Col de Chétillon," providing you with more insights about the area. Additionally, at around 0.72 km from the start, you will encounter "Col de Recon," another informative spot along the trail.

At the midway point of the hike, you will come across "Col de Chetillon," a natural saddle point, offering a beautiful resting spot to admire the scenery.

Before heading back, make sure to stop by the historic sites of "wayside cross" and "wayside shrine" located at 0.1 km from the start. These culturally rich spots add a unique touch to your hiking experience.
