This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area near Saix Rouge. The trail is 3.909 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 371 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike that will take around 1 hour and 49 minutes to complete.

Starting off, you will come across the "Recon" information point just 103 meters from the trail. Continuing on, at around 0.51 kilometers into the hike, you will find "Le Luisset," a water source to refill your bottles. Shortly after, at 0.02 kilometers from the start, "La Bourri" restaurant offers a great spot for a meal or a break.

As you progress, you will encounter "Saix Rouge" peak at about 1.95 kilometers from the start, providing a breathtaking view of the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 1.5 kilometers, "Haut Sex" peak is another point of interest to explore and enjoy.

Around 1.68 kilometers into the hike, "Col de Chétillon" information point provides insights into the area's history and significance. Additionally, "Col de Recon" at 0.72 kilometers from the start offers another informative stop.

Towards the end of the trail, you will reach "Col de Chetillon" saddle at 1.66 kilometers, followed by "Col de Recon" saddle at 0.69 kilometers from the start. These points mark significant spots along the route.

During the hike, you may also come across various historic landmarks like wayside crosses and shrines, adding a cultural aspect to your journey.
