This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historical sites. Starting at an elevation of 795 meters, you will begin your journey at the parking area in Les Combes. As you ascend, you will come across the ruins of an ancient structure, adding a sense of mystery to your hike.
Continuing on, after approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach Pas du Sappey, a saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery. Further along the trail, you will come across Cabane du Petit Sappey, a shelter where you can rest and refuel before continuing your adventure.
As you approach the endpoint of the hike at Crête des rochers de l'église, at an elevation of 1482 meters, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views from the viewpoint overlooking Mont-Saint-Martin. This is a perfect place to see the beauty of the area from above and admire the rugged terrain.
