This hiking route is a circular trail that takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Hausen im Tal. The trail covers a distance of approximately 3.145 kilometers with an elevation gain of 181 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Campingplatz Wagenburg, a campsite where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, you will pass by the Schmiedbachbrunnen spring and the Hausen im Tal Ortsmitte information center.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Stuhlfels viewpoint, offering stunning views of the area. As you continue, you may come across the ruins of Wartturm, an ancient watchtower, and the entrance to a cave. Towards the end of the trail, you'll find the Schloss Hausen castle ruins and the Ruine Schloss Hausen, offering a glimpse into the area's history.
Along the way, there are benches and information points scattered throughout the trail, providing resting spots and interesting facts about the surroundings. Be sure to bring enough water, as there are limited drinking water sources along the trail.
