This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Burghalde. The trail is 1.662 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 70 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for beginners and families.
As you start your hike, you will pass by the Hofstättle parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Further along the route, you will come across the Wanderparkplatz Gutenstein for additional parking options. About 0.05 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
For those interested in viewpoints, the route offers two picturesque spots. The Burghalde viewpoint is located 0.83 kilometers into the hike, providing stunning panoramic views of the area. Additionally, the Kreuzfelsen viewpoint is 0.18 kilometers into the hike, offering a different perspective of the landscape.
History buffs will appreciate the wayside cross and the Ruine Burgfelden castle ruins along the trail. These historical landmarks add a unique touch to your hiking experience.
