This hike takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Lago della Manica. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of approximately 8 kilometers and an elevation gain of 309 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 2 hours and 37 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Fontana del Rabiè, a picturesque fountain located 1.28 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles before continuing on. Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.84 kilometers, you will find Rifugio Selleries, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments while taking in the stunning views.
Midway through the hike, at 3.3 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Bivacco lago Laus, a wilderness hut perfect for spending the night in the wilderness. Make sure to check their website for more information if you're interested in staying overnight.
At the end of the trail, 4 kilometers from the start, you will reach Lago della Manica, a beautiful lake where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before heading back.
Throughout the hike, there are several points of interest such as Bivacco Jouglard, a shelter located 0.61 kilometers from the start, and La Manica, a stunning water feature 1.91 kilometers from the start.
