This extremely difficult 12.832-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area surrounding the Cascade de Gorniès. The trail starts at the parking area and heads towards Mare de la Bergerie de Bacayrole, a picturesque water spot located 2.11 kilometers from the start. As you continue on your journey, you'll encounter various points of interest such as the shelter at the beginning of the trail, and the ancient ruins of Ancien moulin located 5.82 kilometers into the hike.
Midway through the route, at around 6.35 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the stunning Cascade de Gorniès waterfall. This is a perfect spot to take a break, enjoy the scenery, and refuel for the rest of the hike. Throughout the trail, you'll also come across several cave entrances like Évent de Gorniès, Grotte des Canaus, and Aven des Chênes, each offering a unique natural experience.
The hike will lead you past archaeological sites such as Dolmen de la Bergerie de Lamalou B and Dolmen de la Bergerie de Lamalou A, adding a historical touch to your outdoor adventure.
