This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Braunwald area in Switzerland. Starting at the Startplatz Kiosk, you will begin your journey with a gradual ascent through lush greenery and picturesque landscapes. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest.

About 2 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Chängelplangge, where you can take a moment to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Continuing on, you will pass by various benches and water sources, including the Zwergenturm picnic site, perfect for a little rest and relaxation.

After about 3 kilometers, you will arrive at Ortstockhaus, your destination for this hike. This alpine hut offers a cozy place to rest and refuel before you make your way back. With its stunning views and hearty meals, Ortstockhaus is the perfect spot to take in the beauty of the Swiss Alps.

This out-and-back route covers a total distance of 6.992 kilometers with an elevation gain of 487 meters. While the trail is of moderate difficulty due to its length and elevation gain, it is suitable for hikers of all levels.
