Le Paillesson is a beautiful area perfect for a moderate hike. The circular route covers a distance of approximately 5.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 217 meters, taking about 1 hour and 48 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will find a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. About 2.52 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Gros Cousimbert alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. This hut offers accommodation as well and can be a great resting spot midway through your journey.

At 0.37 kilometers from the trail start, there is a bench where you can sit and take in the surrounding nature. Continuing on, at 2.52 kilometers, you will find the Crau Rappo restaurant, which is just a short distance away from the trail. This can be a perfect spot for a meal on the way back.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various benches and picnic sites where you can rest and have a snack. There is also an information point at Crau, providing insights into the area's history and significance. Additionally, at 2.75 kilometers, you can reach a peak with stunning views that are worth the extra effort.
