Hiking : La Cascade de la Terrisse

This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning La Cascade de la Terrisse in the scenic area. The trail covers a distance of 13.668 kilometers with an elevation gain of 349 meters, so be prepared for a challenging trek.

As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will find a lovely fountain where you can replenish your water supply. As you continue on, at around 5.14 kilometers into the hike, there is a drinking water station to fill up your bottles. Just a bit further, at 5.34 kilometers in, another drinking water spot is available for your convenience.

Around the 5.4-kilometer mark, there is a picturesque picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. For a spectacular view, at 2.72 kilometers from the start (not directly on the trail), you can visit the viewpoint known as Brèche de Giniol.

At approximately 6.83 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the breathtaking La Cascade de la Terrisse waterfall, the highlight of the route. Take your time to marvel at the natural beauty and perhaps take some photos to capture the moment.
