This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Lago Superiore di Roburent. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 11.249 kilometers and an elevation gain of 626 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 10 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the parking area at a distance of 0.0 kilometers from the trailhead. It is advised to make sure you have enough water and snacks for the trek, as well as checking the weather forecast before heading out.
Along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. At around 1.84 kilometers from the start, you will come across an information point. Further ahead, at 3.52 kilometers, you will find Lac de l'Oronaye, a stunning lake that is worth a stop to admire the views.
Continuing on, at around 4.0 kilometers, you will reach Vallon de l'Oronaye, another picturesque spot on the trail. As you progress, at 4.93 kilometers, you will come across Col de Ruburent / Colle di Roburent, a saddle point to take in the surrounding scenery.
As you approach the halfway point of the hike, at 5.62 kilometers, you will find drinking water available at Lago Superiore di Roburent. This is a good opportunity to refill your water bottle and take a short break before continuing on.
On the way back, at 4.85 kilometers from the start, you will reach Col de Roburent, another point of interest along the trail. Be mindful of your surroundings and enjoy the natural beauty that this hiking route has to offer.
