Throughout the hike, you will encounter several other water features like the Oberer and Unterer Scheppacher Weiher and various springs like Buchkopf-Quelle. There are also many picnic sites and benches along the trail where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

At the midway point of the trail, you will come across the Galgenberg peak and the Buchenberg peak, offering stunning views of the area. There are also several amenities along the trail including a restaurant called Gut Walden and drinking water stations.
