Welcome to the Petgill Lake Trail in the Elaho/Garibaldi area. This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 24.467 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1441 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting off, you will find parking facilities conveniently located at the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you will come across the Stawamus Chief Campground, a perfect spot for camping if you wish to extend your adventure. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Slot Machine, a popular climbing spot, and the picturesque Petgill Lake located 8.71 kilometers from the start.
For those looking to take a break, there are picnic sites and shelters around the 0.16-kilometer mark.
