Welcome to the Kraatsweg hiking route!

The Kraatsweg hiking route is a leisurely 3.3-kilometer out-and-back trail with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The trail is located in a picturesque area with beautiful natural surroundings.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail to leave your vehicle. From there, you will pass by an information point about the Grebbeliniepad, providing you with some historical background on the area. Midway through the trail, you will find a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a snack while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Further along, you will encounter a water feature, offering a refreshing spot to relax and admire the scenery.

At the turnaround point, you will find an attraction with no entrance fee, giving you the opportunity to explore and learn more about the local attractions in the area. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this enjoyable hike.
