This extremely difficult 14.048 km out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Lac de Vallonpierre in the beautiful area. The trail starts at the parking du Crépon and takes you through challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 674.0 meters.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest:
- Midway through the hike, at 2.89 km from the start, you will come across a shelter for a quick rest.
- At 6.86 km from the start, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area.
- As you approach the lake at 7.02 km from the start, you will find the Refuge de Vallonpierre, an alpine hut where you can stay overnight.
- Close to the lake, there is also a drinking water facility for you to refill your water bottles.

Please note that this hike is extremely difficult due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure you are well-prepared. Don't forget to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
