As you start your hike, you will pass by a parking area where you can leave your vehicle and begin your adventure. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a pub where you can grab a quick bite or drink before continuing your journey.

Midway through your hike, you will encounter the Fountain of Cardinal Dal Monte, a historic monument that serves as a refreshing stop for hikers. As you trek further, you will reach the Stele del Soldato, a memorial that offers a moment of reflection on the area's history.

For those seeking a challenge, there are peaks like Monte Fringuello and Monte Penna to conquer. These points provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making the uphill climb worth it.

As you make your way back, you can stop by the Antro dell'Acero cave entrance and Passo della Sportola saddle for some unique natural encounters. Don't forget to check out the viewpoints along the trail, such as the one at 5.11 kilometers, for a panoramic vista of the area.

This out-and-back trail covers a distance of approximately 10.228 kilometers with an elevation gain of 885 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
