About midway through the hike, you will reach Passo Carosina, another saddle offering stunning views of the area. Make sure to stay hydrated as there are drinking water stations along the trail at various points, such as at 6.07, 10.46, and 10.4 kilometers from the start.

Once you reach Rifugio Monte Pennino, located 10.66 kilometers from the start, you can take a well-deserved rest at this alpine hut. With its cozy accommodations and picturesque surroundings, it's the perfect spot to refuel before starting your journey back.
