This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Reitersprung. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 7.37 kilometers and an elevation gain of 102 meters, taking approximately 1 hour and 37 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area near Zigeunerfelsen, you will first come across the Zigeunerfelsen rock formation, located just 3 kilometers from the start. As you continue along the trail, you'll encounter a natural spring just 2 kilometers away, offering a refreshing stop along the way.

After another 3 kilometers, you'll reach the Reitersprung viewpoint, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Along the trail, you'll also find several benches and informational points providing insight into the area's history and natural features.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to stop by the Eichertshals monument, located just 1 kilometer away. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this moderately challenging hike.
