This extremely difficult 17.4-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through the stunning alpine landscape near Milchspüelersee. Prepare for a challenging adventure with 1887 meters of elevation gain that will last around 8 hours and 45 minutes.
The trail starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before heading out. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by "Im Bach," a picturesque picnic site located 2.47 kilometers from the start, perfect for a rest stop.
Around the 6-kilometer mark, you'll encounter two peaks, Chli Kärpf and Gross Kärpf, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. These peaks are located 6.22 and 6.05 kilometers from the starting point, respectively.
Midway through the hike, at approximately the 7.9-kilometer mark, you'll find the Leglerhütte alpine hut. This is a great spot to refill your water supply and take a break before continuing on your journey.
Further along the trail, at 8.19 to 8.24 kilometers from the start, you'll come across several water sources, providing you with a chance to cool off and rehydrate.
As you approach the 8.5-kilometer mark, you'll reach the stunning Milchspüelersee. Take some time to admire the tranquil lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before heading back on the final stretch of the hike.
