This extremely difficult 11.754 km out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Dalfazer Joch in the picturesque area. The trail starts at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle for a fee. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey.
As you start your hike, you will come across an information point at 0.84 km from the beginning. At 1.29 km, you'll find a viewpoint with a great vantage point of the Dalfazer Wasserfall. Continuing on, you'll pass by a picnic site at 1.53 km, perfect for a rest stop and enjoying the surroundings.
Around 1.66 km into the hike, you'll encounter the Dalfazer Wasserfall, a beautiful waterfall that adds to the scenic beauty of the area. Nearby, there's also the Dalfazer Wasserfall Klettersteig, a via ferrata route for the more adventurous hikers.
Further along the trail, at 3.18 km, you'll find another information point to learn more about the area. At 3.24 km, the trail leads you to the Dalfazalm, where you can stop for a meal and rest before continuing your journey.
Midway through the hike, at 4.34 km, another information point provides insights into the surroundings. As you approach 4.49 km, you'll reach the Steinernes Tor, a notable saddle along the trail.
At 4.58 km, there's another information point to explore before reaching the peak of Dalfazer Joch at 5.88 km. The breathtaking views from the peak make the challenging hike worth it.
