Welcome to the hiking route to Dalfazalm! This challenging hike covers a distance of 6.569 kilometers with an elevation gain of 740 meters, taking approximately 3 hours and 22 minutes to complete. The trail is considered difficult due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure to be prepared and physically fit before embarking on this adventure.
The hike starts at a parking area with a fee, located at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way towards Dalfazalm, you'll come across several points of interest along the route.
About 1.29 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a viewpoint overlooking the magnificent Dalfazer Wasserfall. Take a moment to enjoy the breathtaking views before continuing on your journey.
At around 1.53 kilometers into the hike, you'll pass by a picnic site, perfect for taking a break and refueling for the rest of the hike. Further along the trail, at 0.84 kilometers in, you'll encounter another picnic site where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 1.66 kilometers in, you'll reach the Dalfazer Wasserfall and the Dalfazer Wasserfall Klettersteig, a via ferrata climbing route. Explore the waterfall and its surroundings before continuing on towards Dalfazalm.
As you approach Dalfazalm, at 3.18 and 3.24 kilometers into the hike, you'll find information points to learn more about the area and its history. Finally, at 3.28 kilometers into the hike, you'll arrive at Dalfazalm, an alpine hut and restaurant where you can rest and refuel before your return journey.
