This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of მაჭის ციხის ბილიკი. With a total distance of 16.49 kilometers and no elevation gain, this hike is sure to challenge even the most experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 3.93 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Visitors Centre and Rangers shelter, offering a great spot to take a break and learn more about the area.

Continuing on, at around 6.97 kilometers, you will reach a campsite where you can rest and enjoy the natural surroundings. Midway through the hike, at 8.25 kilometers, there is a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the area.

At the end of the trail, approximately 3.95 kilometers from the starting point, you will find the start point to Machi Fortress, a historically significant site that is worth exploring. Additionally, at 7.51 kilometers from the start, there is information about the r.Matsimiskhevi river, providing insight into the local geography.
