This extremely difficult 14.846-kilometer circular hiking route in the Poroszka - Szabadság utca area offers a challenging and rewarding outdoor experience. The trail starts at Esztramos étterem, where hikers can grab a bite to eat before embarking on their journey. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest such as drinking water stations, information boards like the 1. Ismertető tábla (Alsó-hegyi zsombolyos tanösvény), a shelter, a spring (Erdei-forrás), and several benches for resting.
The trail also features historic memorials, including Magyar Millennium and Egykori vízimalom, providing a glimpse into the rich history of the area. As you make your way through the challenging terrain, be sure to stay hydrated by taking advantage of the drinking water stations scattered along the route.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Mile-hegy, a natural peak with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break and capture some photos. As you continue on, you will pass by Országos Kéktúra, a popular tourist information point that offers insights into the local flora and fauna.
Towards the end of the hike, you will pass through Bódvaszilas, where you can stop for a refreshing drink at the local pub before completing the loop back to the starting point.
