Welcome to the Rennfeld hiking route! This moderate 4.376-kilometer trail offers beautiful views and a moderate elevation gain of 351 meters, making it a great option for hikers looking for a bit of a challenge.
Starting at the Rennfeld destination, you will first pass by the Pischkalm parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue onwards, about 2.19 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
At around the 2.18-kilometer mark, you will come across a bench where you can take a break and enjoy a snack. Nearby, you will also find the historic Schreiber Kreuz wayside cross, a point of interest worth exploring.
As you approach the peak located 2.19 kilometers from the start, be sure to check out the information point offering insights about the area. This spot is perfect for taking in breathtaking views before starting your journey back.
