This hiking route will take you to the Zweitausender peak in a moderate 6.5 kilometers long trail with an elevation gain of 174 meters. The trail starts at the parking area and leads you through a picturesque area with various points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Speicherteich Resterhöhe, a beautiful water feature just 0.04 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 1.7 kilometers, you will find a drinking water station for refilling your water bottle.
Midway through the hike, at 3.03 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a natural water source closer to the trail. As you continue towards the Zweitausender peak, you will reach the Hartkaserhöhe saddle at 1.43 kilometers from the start.
A great spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments is the Panoramaalm restaurant, located 2.14 kilometers from the start of the trail. Additionally, there are several benches and viewpoints along the way for resting and taking in the scenic views.
As you approach the Zweitausender peak at 3.27 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with outstanding panoramic views of the surrounding area. At the peak, you can take in the majestic beauty of the landscape and capture some memorable photos.
