This hiking route will take you through a stunning alpine landscape, providing breathtaking views and a challenging trek. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 12.108 kilometers and an elevation gain of 603 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Gasthof Maierhof, a cozy restaurant just 0.07 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a bite to eat before heading further into the wilderness. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Alpenrosenhütte at the 2.0-kilometer mark, a charming alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain atmosphere.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Talkaser restaurant at the 3.18-kilometer mark, offering you another opportunity to refuel and recharge for the rest of the trek. As you continue on, you will come across the Einködlscharte saddle at the 4.7-kilometer mark, providing stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

Towards the end of the route, you will reach the Speicherteich Kreuzjöchl, a picturesque water reservoir located 6.05 kilometers from the start, where you can marvel at the tranquil waters and unwind before heading back.
