Hiking : El Delirio - Páramo de Cruz Verde

Welcome to the hiking route at El Delirio in Páramo de Cruz Verde! This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of approximately 22.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 677 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Patio SITP Gaviotas parking area, located right at the start of the trail. Be sure to park your vehicle here before embarking on this adventure.

As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. At around 11.4 kilometers from the start, you will find a beautiful viewpoint that offers stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. Further along, at approximately 11.46 kilometers, another viewpoint awaits, providing a different perspective of the area. Additionally, there are two peaks located at 8.12 and 8.77 kilometers from the start, although they are slightly off the trail.

It is essential to stay hydrated throughout the hike, so be sure to bring an ample supply of water. The terrain can be challenging, so wearing appropriate footwear and clothing is advised. Additionally, check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
