This extremely difficult 12.743-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Lorenzenspitz - Cima S. Lorenzo area. The trail starts at Durnholzer See - Lago di Valdurna, a picturesque water body located right at the beginning of the route. As you progress, you will pass by the Flaggerschartenhütte - Rifugio Forcella Vallaga alpine hut, ideal for a rest stop or an overnight stay.
During your hike, you will come across various points of interest such as the Flaggerscharte - Forcella Vallaga saddle, Seebalm restaurant, and several information points along the way. Make sure to refill your water supply at the drinking water point and springs conveniently located along the trail.
As you approach the midway point, you will reach the peak of Lorenzenspitz - Cima S. Lorenzo, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. The trail then leads you back towards the starting point, passing by more information points and another water point.
With a total elevation gain of 1156.0 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
