This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chemin d'Ilharra, offering a mix of historical landmarks and natural wonders.

Starting at the Parking du château, you will begin your journey by exploring the Château de Trois-Villes, an ancient castle located just a stone's throw away from the trail. As you continue on, you will come across the Statue de Etxahun Iruri, a historic monument commemorating a local figure.

Midway through the hike, you will reach La Madeleine, a picturesque peak where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to stop by the viewpoints along the way, including those at 4.73, 4.77, and 4.84 kilometers into the hike. These spots offer excellent photo opportunities and a chance to catch your breath before continuing on.

Towards the end of the journey, you will pass by the Wayside Cross and information points that provide insight into the area's rich history. Finally, as you loop back to the starting point, take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you.

With a total distance of 9.916 kilometers and an elevation gain of 554 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers.
