This hiking route to Großer Brettkogel is located in a beautiful area with stunning mountain views. The trail is 13.649 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 927 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take approximately 5 hours and 28 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.13 kilometers into the hike, you will come across another parking spot and a shelter named Pass Gschütt. Further along the trail, at the same distance, you will reach a saddle also called Pass Gschütt, which offers a perfect resting spot to enjoy the surrounding nature.

Midway through the hike, approximately 6.82 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Großer Brettkogel, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views. Along the way, you will also encounter historic boundary stones, one of which is located 0.05 kilometers from the trail.

At around 2.84 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point for tourists to learn more about the area. Another information point can be found at 5.1 kilometers, and one more close to the end of the trail, at 6.08 kilometers.

Due to the length and elevation gain of this hike, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure is highly recommended.
