Welcome to the hiking route to Couillade de Pedourrés!
Located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes, this hike is 13.659 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1214 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you embark on this challenging journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Plat des Peyres parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Further along, midway through the hike, you will find Refuge du Rulhe, an alpine hut offering accommodation for hikers.
For those looking to hydrate, there are water sources scattered throughout the hike, with some being closer to the start and others further away. Keep an eye out for Cabane du Pla de las Peyres, a wilderness hut located just 0.07 kilometers from the start of the trail.
As you continue your journey, you'll also pass by Col des Calmettes, a saddle point which is 4.45 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. For nature lovers, there are attractions like Col de Beilh and a spring located near the trail.
It is important to bring an ample water supply, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this route is physically demanding. Additionally, be sure to check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
