The route to Tiñosa is an extremely difficult 14.753 kilometers long hiking trail with an elevation gain of 614 meters, taking approximately 4 hours and 57 minutes to complete. The trail is circular, starting and ending at the same point.
The hike begins at a parking area, located right at the trailhead. As you embark on your journey, you'll pass by a natural water source about 0.38 kilometers from the start, offering a refreshing spot to rest and refill your water bottle.
Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 4.72 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the beautiful saddle known as Puerto de la Quesera, providing scenic views and a great place to take a break.
Further along the trail, at 6.11 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the peak of Pico del Granero, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue, you'll pass by Peña la Silla and eventually reach the summit of Tiñosa at 7.32 kilometers from the start, where you can enjoy a sense of accomplishment and breathtaking views from the top.
Throughout the hike, you'll also come across various other peaks and natural landmarks, adding diversity and interest to your journey. It is important to note that some of these points of interest may require a slight detour from the main trail.
