This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Cresta del Dragón, located in GU-186. With a total distance of 20.314 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1290 meters, this challenging trail is not for the faint of heart. It is estimated to take approximately 7 hours and 55 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Aparcamiento Hayedo Tejera Negra parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. About 10.16 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a peak known as Peña la Silla. Further along the trail, at around 9.05 kilometers, you will encounter the peaks of Tiñosa and Peña de la Tiñosa. These peaks offer stunning views and a perfect spot to take a break and admire the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, you will also pass by Collado del Hornillo, a saddle located approximately 2.71 kilometers from the starting point. Additionally, you will find a refreshing spring at 0.08 kilometers into the hike.
