This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Sentier de la Mine, covering a total distance of 12.099 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1147.0 meters, and a duration of approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Lac de Puy Vachier at around 4.86 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This picturesque lake provides a serene spot to rest and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.

Along the way, you will also find the Refuge Évariste Chancel at 5.55 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy alpine hut for hikers to take a break or even stay overnight if needed.

For information and interesting facts about the area, keep an eye out for the information points located at 0.18 and 0.17 kilometers from the starting point respectively.

As you progress on the trail, make sure to visit the viewpoints at 5.17 and 6.05 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.
