Welcome to the hiking route to Cabeza del Caballo! This moderately difficult out-and-back trail covers a distance of 5.247 kilometers with an elevation gain of 438 meters, taking an estimated duration of 2 hours and 18 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the route. As you begin your hike, you will pass by El Jabalí restaurant, a great spot to grab a bite to eat before or after your adventure. Approximately 2.62 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the picturesque peak known as Cabeza del Caballo, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty.

Continuing on, at around the halfway point, you will come across Collado Cavero, a scenic saddle along the trail. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the tranquility of the area before heading back.

Along the way back, you can replenish your water supply at a drinking water station located 0.11 kilometers from the start. Another option for sustenance is Prado Negro restaurant, situated 0.13 kilometers from the trailhead.
