This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning La Grande Moucherolle in France. The 9.712 km trail has an elevation gain of 1034 meters, offering breathtaking views along the way.
Starting at the parking area, you will pass by points of interest such as La Soldanelle restaurant and Pré Achard information spot at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you'll come across Mauret information point and a spring at around 1 km mark. Make sure to stay hydrated and pack enough water for the hike.
Further along the trail, at 3.71 km mark, you'll reach Col des Deux Sœurs saddle, providing a great resting spot with beautiful views. The trail then leads you to the highlight of the hike, La Grande Moucherolle peak at 4.86 km. Take your time to enjoy the panoramic views from this natural marvel.
On the way back, you can explore additional points of interest like Grotte Agnès cave entrance and Puits Sans Fond-Arche de Noé, both about 3-4 km from the start.
