This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning La Grande Sœur Agathe in the picturesque area of the destination name.
Starting at the parking area, you will embark on an 8.146-kilometer out-and-back journey with an elevation gain of 983 meters. The trail begins with a gentle ascent, passing by the informative sites of Pré Achard and Mauret. As you continue on, you will reach the scenic Col des Deux Sœurs, a beautiful natural saddle where you can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, you will encounter La Soldanelle restaurant, perfect for a quick snack or meal before you continue your adventure. Be sure to also visit the boundary stone at 2.66 kilometers from the start, a historic landmark worth exploring.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the refreshing spring known as Grotte Agnès, where you can quench your thirst and take a moment to relax before pushing onward.
