Hiking : Obrovský vodopád

This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Obrovský vodopád. With a total distance of 9.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 325 meters, this hike is considered to be of a difficult level. It is estimated to take around 3 hours to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. About 1.99 kilometers from the start, you will reach Pod Kláštoriskom, where you can gather some information about the area. Further along, at 3.02 kilometers, you will find Kláštorisko, which is an attraction nestled in the natural beauty of the surroundings. You can take a break at Bufet Kláštorisko at 3.19 kilometers, a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat.

As you continue your hike, be sure to visit Priorov dom and other historic buildings like Cela I, Cela II, Cela V, and Cela VIII. At around 3.61 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas of the landscape.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching Obrovský vodopád at 4.75 kilometers, a majestic waterfall that will leave you in awe of its beauty. Make sure to also visit Karolinyho vodopád, another stunning waterfall further along the trail.
