As you start your journey, you will come across the Besník information point, situated 1.1 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along, at just 0.1 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Prameň Hrona, a natural spring named after the nearby stream. This is a great spot to replenish your water supply.
Continuing on, you will reach the Prameň Hrona spring itself, located right on the trail. Take a moment to appreciate the clear, refreshing water bubbling up from the ground. Nearby, there is a picnic site and shelter where you can rest and recharge.
At the 5.21-kilometer mark, you will find the Borovniak peak, offering magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great place to take a break and snap some photos. Nearby, there are benches where you can sit and enjoy the scenery.
