Welcome to the hiking route on Via Canvella!

This trail offers a 6.3-kilometer out-and-back route with an elevation gain of 418 meters, making it a moderate level hike. The hike takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

Starting at the beginning of the trail, you will come across the beautiful Lago Verde, a picturesque water feature just 95 meters from the trail. As you continue on, at around 2.64 kilometers into the hike, you'll see the historic Cannicciaia dei Poggi building located just 14 meters from the trail.

Along the way, you'll also pass by the Osteria La Bua della Tonia restaurant, perfect for a post-hike meal or snack. Additionally, be on the lookout for the Poggio Vergai peak at 2.72 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.

For those interested in natural landmarks, you'll encounter two saddles at 0.81 and 3.06 kilometers respectively. These natural formations provide a unique sight to see during your hike.
