This extremely difficult 13.528-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through a scenic area with an elevation gain of 536 meters. The trail starts at Veža and offers various points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the hike, you can visit the attraction of sv. archanjela Michala and the parking area with no fees. As you continue on the trail, you'll pass by Pohostinstvo pod Lipou, a pub where you can take a break and refuel.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter a wayside cross and Ulicske Krive, a wooden chapel dating back to 1778 dedicated to the archangel Michael. The route also takes you to Veža, a peak where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings.
On the way back, you'll come across several points of interest, including memorials and informational sites such as Uličské Krivé and Karpatske Bukove Pralesy - Svetove Dedicstvo, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Due to the length and elevation gain of this hike, it is essential to bring an adequate water supply and check the weather forecast before heading out. Be prepared for a challenging but rewarding trek through the stunning landscape of Veža.
