This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Maribizkar. With a distance of 15.099 kilometers and an elevation gain of 393.0 meters, this trail is considered extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.

Starting at Izarpe Camping, you will begin your journey with the trailhead nearby. As you make your way along the path, you will come across San Bartolomé de Gorostieta shelter at around 6.9 kilometers into the hike, offering a resting spot for weary hikers. Continuing onwards, you will reach Maribizkar peak at 7.55 kilometers, with stunning panoramic views awaiting you at the summit.

Along the way, you will encounter points of interest such as Dolmen Angaiza, an archaeological site located at the same distance as Maribizkar peak. Additionally, you will pass by Ermita de San Bartolomé de Gorostieta, a historic wayside shrine situated at 6.92 kilometers from the start.

As you approach Mindegi peak at 3.61 kilometers, you can take in the surrounding natural beauty before heading back the way you came.
