Welcome to the hiking route to Le Ciaval! This trail is located in a stunning natural area with breathtaking views and challenging terrain.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across Forcella de Medesc, a picturesque saddle 4.41 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you will pass by various information points along the way, providing you with insights into the local area and history.
At 2.28 kilometers in, you will find another information point before reaching a wayside cross at 0.32 kilometers further along the trail. Bring plenty of water with you, as there are drinking water stations at 0.44 and 3.46 kilometers from the start.
The trail will lead you to the peak of Piz dl Zuber at 6.81 kilometers, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you approach the endpoint at Le Ciaval, you'll reach the Ju dla Crusc - Kreuzkofeljoch - Passo di Santa Croce saddle at 6.02 kilometers.
With a total distance of 15.76 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1176 meters, this hike is extremely difficult and requires a good level of fitness.
