At the beginning of the trail, you will come across Kirkmichael Chapel, an archaeological site rich in history. Further along, you will find St Michael's Well, another significant archaeological site. These sites offer a glimpse into the area's past and are worth exploring.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by a spring - a perfect spot to rest and replenish your water supply. The trail also leads you to St Michael's Cross, another historical site that adds to the charm of the hike.
