This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 12.5 km journey with an elevation gain of 804 meters to the stunning peak of La Petite Tête Noire.
Starting at the parking area, you will head towards the observatory of Châteaurenard, located at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will pass by the ancient copper mine and marble quarry, adding a historical touch to your hike.
As you continue, you will reach Lac de la Blanche and Refuge de la Blanche, perfect spots to take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Further ahead, you will encounter the Col de la Noire and L'Observatoire de Châteaurenard, offering unique viewpoints of the area.
The trail will lead you through Pont de Clausis and Chapelle de Clausis before reaching the challenging climb to the peak of La Petite Tête Noire. The route also passes by La Moutière and Blanche, providing informative stops along the way.
