Welcome to the Wildkogel hiking route! This 14-kilometer circular trail offers breathtaking views and a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 1084 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult, so make sure to come prepared and in good physical condition.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by a convenient parking area before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the path, you'll encounter several points of interest. About 3.59 kilometers from the start, you'll come across Bergeralm, a cozy restaurant where you can refuel and rest.
Continuing on, at the 6.25-kilometer mark, you'll reach Wildkogel Alm, another restaurant serving up delicious meals and stunning views. As you approach the 6.92-kilometer point, you'll find yourself near the peak of Wildkogel, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.
Throughout the trail, you'll also come across informational sites, benches for taking a break, and more dining options like Bergrestaurant Skiarena Wildkogel and Ramba Zambar. Feel free to stop and enjoy the amenities along the way.
